protecting the heating, ventilation and air conditioning from dust

2014 02 16 LEED awards points for keeping the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning ducts clean during construction. the first picture shows one of the mini-splits bagged, the second picture shows the intake duct to the second mini-splict closed off with cardboard and the third picture shows an ERV vent capped. zehnder, the ERV manufacturer, provides the ducts with caps. very nice!

wallboard

2014 02 05: wallboard is being installed. it’s beginning to look like a house inside.

miche booz’s work is beginning to really show. walking from the hallway in the private area into the living area is a great experience. the space seems to magically expand. it’s much like frank lloyd wright’s compression in a confined space with a release into large space except that the small space in the old hopkins road house is pleasant.

well the photo doesn’t even represent that; but it does show the wallboard.
