2014 04 11: the soffits are being placed on the garage and the house. they look great!
2014 04 08: the old house that i was living in is being deconstructed, as opposed to being demolished. this means that a lot of its parts will be reused including its lumber, electrical wires, and the few appliances left in it such as ceiling fans. it will take about 7 days to deconstruct this house as opposed to demolishing it,which would take one or two days. i get a tax break with the donation of parts (hooray). most of the material will end up at the loading dock in baltimore, md., www.loadingdock.org
2014 04 01: follows a shot of the wall tile in the master bath and the floor tile under it.
2014 03 31 my architect, miche booz, selected some exciting colors for the interior. with all the boxes and equipment, i think it’s difficult to get the intended effect; but, it still looks good.
in a maryland tradition, the ceiling is a blue-gray. it is intended to blend nicely with the sky when looking out the windows at front of the house that reach almost to the ceiling.
the wall to the left is svelte sage, adjacent to it is empire gold … then there’s the dark gray wall with just a hint of purple.
all of the paint is zero voc from sherwin-williams.
